About Pact

Pact is a free web app where two friends commit to the same goal for a fixed number of weeks. Every time either of you checks in, a shared generative artwork grows.

The artwork is an honest record of what you both actually did — each check-in adds a leaf, each missed day leaves a visible gap. You keep it at the end, whatever it looks like.

There’s no streak counter that punishes you when it breaks, no leaderboard, and no competitive framing. Just two people, one goal, and the thing you made together.

How it works

1. One person creates a pact — picks a goal, cadence, and duration — and shares an invite link.
2. The other person opens the link and joins with their name and email.
3. Each day, a reminder email arrives with the current artwork and a one-tap check-in button.
4. At the end, you both get the final piece by email and can download or share it.

Pact was built as a personal project and as a teaching example for Art Blocks. It’s free to use, and the source code is on GitHub.
